Become Part of Hollywood Submit Your Work to Enter the Millipede TV Contest

October 12, 2010

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ — Mega-children’s entertainment Producer Kenn Viselman, and his itsy bitsy Entertainment Company announces an extraordinary search for content to anyone who has ever created high quality children’s programming to timely submit their short-form product for the chance to be included in “Millipede,” scheduled to premiere at the end of 2011. “Millipede” is an enchanting children’s “television block” for all of the senses that will combine a mix of the very best live-action and animated programming.

Producers are encouraged to submit any preschool targeted shorts ranging from 15 seconds to 11 minutes to be considered for a position in the “Millipede” program block. Producers/creators must own all rights to the submitted material and footage must be non-violent and appropriate for a preschool audience. Submissions will be accepted through 12/11/10. Submission rules and information can be found on millipedetv.com.

“‘Millipede‘ is a H.U.G.E. opportunity. Anyone who has talent deserves to be showcased, and often because of a lack of contacts, length of programming or some other issue, extraordinary projects never make their way on to the screen…in those instances the biggest losers are the children who never get to experience these delicious morsels,” states Viselman. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to allow ‘Millipede‘ to give back while at the same time affording my company the opportunity to expand our message of high-quality, wholesome, fun and funny family entertainment globally.”

Viselman is currently in negotiations with several key international broadcast partners in the US, United Kingdom, Canada and France to air the series. With successes under his belt including the Teletubbies, Thomas the Tank Engine, Eloise, Noddy, NiNi’s Treehouse and it’s itsy bitsy Time!, broadcasters across the globe are expressing interest in Viselman’s exciting new project.

Joshua Gronner, who won a similar talent search held by Viselman, will compose Millipede’s music. Gronner was selected among 100s of contestants to compose the music for the company’s upcoming film “The Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure.”

Kenn Viselman presents…Inc. is a Global Entertainment Company committed to creating family television, feature films, consumer products and online entertainment, which are engaging, entertaining and enlightening for the entire family.
