Repost This

MANCHESTER, England, October 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Bookmakers have
reacted to Wayne Rooney’s sensational U-turn and have clipped Manchester
United to 5/1 from 6/1 to win the Premier League.

The striker has agreed a new five-year contract at Manchester United just
days after announcing his intention to leave.

Betfred boss and United fan Fred Done,

“I’m delighted Wayne has made this dramatic U-turn and consequently I’ve
cut them for the title. Wayne Rooney staying is a huge boost and I’m
delighted for Sir Alex because he did not deserve this kind of nonsense.
Wayne is world class so let’s hope they can chase Chelsea all the way.”

Manchester United will be without Wayne Rooney for the trip to Stoke this
Sunday with an ankle injury but he should be fit for the Manchester Derby on
the 10th November.

Fred Done added,

“All the cash was for Wayne to join City so if does return for the Derby
it will have added spice. I’m back in love with football again after a
turbulent week.”

Manchester United are now 4/5 to finish above their neighbours City.
