The free Slacker Radio app is pre-installed on the HTC HD7 and is available for other Windows Phone 7 devices by installing the Slacker app through the Windows® Phone Marketplace.

The new Slacker Radio application was designed specifically for Windows Phone 7 and leverages Windows Phone 7′s unique design capabilities, which includes panorama screens that allow users to access menus by panning left or right with the swipe of a finger.

“Windows Phone 7 is backed by a rich developer ecosystem that is building a variety of quality apps and games that take advantage of the phone’s unique features and design,” said Todd Brix, senior director, Windows Phone Marketplace, Microsoft Corp. “Slacker Radio, with its visually stimulating design and panoramic menu is a great example of the dynamic apps that people will find on Windows Phone Marketplace,” he continued.
