360 Public Relations Wins Social Media Awards

BOSTON, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ – 360 Public Relations(TM) announced today that two of its client campaigns have been recognized with 2010 Excellence in New Communications Awards. Sponsored by the Society for New Communications Research (http://sncr.org), the awards honor individuals and organizations that are pioneering the use of social media and Internet communications technologies in business, media, nonprofits/NGOs, education, government, and technology.

360PR’s work with Dorel Juvenile Group USA received top honors in the Multiple Platforms/Integrated Initiatives category in the Corporate division. The campaign encompasses an array of social media, email marketing, ecommerce and other web-based initiatives for Dorel Juvenile Group’s Safety 1st brand, which celebrates its 25(th) anniversary in 2010.

Also in the Corporate division, 360PR’s work on behalf of the You CAN Do the Rubik’s Cube campaign was recognized in the Online Publishing category. You CAN Do the Rubik’s Cube is a community initiative designed to empower youth to solve the Rubik’s Cube, teaching math and other important lessons along the way. 360PR helped expand audience for the program in 2010 by launching and integrating official social media channels, including the You CAN Do the Rubik’s Cube Facebook page, which has been particularly effective in activating teachers, parents and youth organizations.
