Legally Blonde: Lawyer Leaves Courtroom to Travel the World in Pursuit of Paradise & Making a Difference.

December 3, 2010

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Dec. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ – Carolyn Zegeer, Television Host, Model, Writer, Producer and Attorney is votes away from achieving the next milestone in her career . . . Paradise Hunter. Carolyn is best known for her chameleon-like brand where she blends television hosting and modeling, with the practice of law. However, the driving force behind this legally blonde powerhouse is her commitment toward giving back through charities and international education.

Carolyn Z, a Miami-native, has already lived in four countries, traveled to more than 20 others and is tri-lingual. Born from a multi-cultural family with a Puerto Rican mother and Lebanese father, Carolyn grew up learning how culture forms character.

Carolyn heard about the Paradise Hunter TV Host Search only a few days before the last day of eligibility. In that amount of time she wrote the script, scouted locations, filmed, and edited. She uploaded her audition video that was one of the best videos of the 700 applicants; it was also viewed 15,000 times in two weeks. While other contestants had been on the Paradise Hunter website for more than 45 days, she worked her way up from 696th to 29th place in one week’s time. Now Carolyn is a top 40 semi-finalist and, in the first week, managed to secure the #1 spot, receiving an astonishing 12,000 votes.

She is a self-described adventure junkie who is as comfortable jumping out of an airplane as she is in a courtroom, Carolyn doesn’t take herself too seriously. She always says, “Life is about the journey, not the destination,” something she learned at a young age. After her travels, and living in multiple countries, Carolyn developed a tag line, “Don’t just visit, move in.” She states, “in order to fully understand another culture, you need to live in that region, connect with its people and become familiar with how they live. The objective is to not only entertain viewers, but it’s a chance to make a difference in people’s lives. That is exactly why I want to be the next Paradise Hunter. It aligns perfectly with my vision to understand other cultures through travel and it provides a platform to share that education with thousands of viewers; this opportunity was a dream come true. The whole point of hunting for Paradise is to enrich people’s lives and hopefully inspire them to be greater.”

For Carolyn Z, hunting for paradise is just the beginning of a long journey. You can support her dream right now by watching her video and voting at: http://tinyurl.com/carolynz
