Pacific Continental Bank Recognized as One of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies

December 10, 2010

EUGENE, Ore., Dec. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Pacific Continental Corporation (Nasdaq: PCBK), the holding company of Pacific Continental Bank, today announced that it was recently recognized as one of Oregon’s most admired companies in the Portland Business Journal’s 2010 Most Admired Companies survey. Once again, Pacific Continental placed in the top ten within the “Financial Services” category.

In a survey sent to some 1,800 chief executive officers and top-level managers throughout Oregon and SW Washington, recipients were asked to select three companies they most admire across eight industries, including technology, health care, nonprofits, financial services, professional services, commercial real estate, traditional manufacturing and agriculture and wood products. Companies within each category received points depending on whether they were identified as a first, second or third choice. The points were then tabulated.

“We are honored to once again be selected as one of Oregon’s most admired companies,” said Hal Brown, Pacific Continental’s chief executive officer. “Our employees deserve a tremendous amount of credit. Every day I witness our bankers putting forth the extra effort required to ensure Pacific Continental remains a highly regarded company.”
