Green Day catalog no longer on indie label
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Lookout! Records has
acknowledged that punk trio Green Day has pulled its pre-1994
catalog from the San Francisco indie label.
A posting on the Lookout! Web site does not cite a reason
for the split; a report on the http://www.Punknews.org site
this week said the label has failed to pay the band back
royalties for the two albums and two EPs.
Green Day’s most recent Reprise/Warner Bros. album,
“American Idiot,” has sold 3.8 million copies.
