Outdoor Channel & Bonnier Corporation Renew Multi-Year Strategic Partnership

TEMECULA, Calif., Jan. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader in Outdoor TV, has renewed a multi-year strategic partnership with Bonnier Corporation, publisher of the world’s most popular outdoor titles, including Field & Stream, Outdoor Life and several industry-leading marine titles. This partnership, which brings together two top media brands in the outdoor industry, covers a variety of platforms including programming, advertising, marketing and digital initiatives. Thanks to the combined strength of their television, print, online and event properties, Outdoor Channel and Bonnier Corporation will reach an audience of more than 57 million outdoor enthusiasts, allowing them to maintain their position as the premiere hub for outdoor related content.

Under terms of the agreement, Outdoor Channel and Bonnier Corporation will leverage their strengths on their respective television, print and digital platforms to provide the highest quality content to the hunters, anglers, archers and outdoorsmen of the U.S. Most notably, for the third consecutive year, Outdoor Channel will be the exclusive television home of “Field & Stream’s Total Outdoorsman Challenge,” an original program developed through the partnership that follows the road to the crowning of the Total Outdoorsman. In addition, the two companies will once again collaborate to produce another season of “Field & Stream’s The Gun Nuts Presented by Smith & Wesson,” which premiered on Outdoor Channel in 2010. This one-of-a-kind series brings to life the highly successful “Gun Nut” franchise Web site and publication feature, further demonstrating the power of the strategic partnership.
