Power 106 and Top Hollywood Choreographers Team Up for Major Talent Search for New Reality Series, ‘The Business of Dance’

LOS ANGELES, April 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ –Power 106 is joining forces with the Top Choreographers from around the country to launch THE BUSINESS OF DANCE Talent Search live from Los Angeles this Friday and Saturday. Power is promoting the search from Thursday through Saturday to support this unprecedented talent search. From 10am to 3pm dancers throughout the city will have a chance to meet top choreographers who have worked with top stars like Usher, Justin Bieber, JLO, and MJ and audition to win $250,000 towards their dream idea.

“The Business of Dance”, a new reality series, is a cross between “The Apprentice” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” with the show seeking to discover professional dancers from around America who have a goal to be commercially successful in business. The winner will receive an investment package which includes a support network for their BUSINESS IDEA as well as $250,000 start up capital towards their new business.

The show’s legendary choreographers who have worked with the elite include Tim Stevenson aka Mo’at (USHER, JENNIFER LOPEZ, DESTINY’S CHILD, QUEEN LATIFAH, PARIS HILTON), Barry Lather (MICHAEL JACKSON, STING, BRITNEY SPEARS, PAULA ABDUL, JUSTIN BIEBER), and Eddie Garcia (JANET JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON, ADAM LAMBERT, PAULA ABDUL, and JLO) and Chris Judd (J LO, JANE’S ADDICTION, USHER).
