Creative Powerhouse agencytwofifteen Becomes Twofifteen McCann and Takes Global Lead on HP
NEW YORK, May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — As further evidence of McCann Worldgroup’s commitment to creative excellence, it was announced today that creative powerhouse agencytwofifteen will take on global creative leadership of the HP account. The agency will also continue to serve its current clients and lead the global Xbox account, which, in partnership with McCann, they currently serve in more than 30 markets. As part of this new structure, agencytwofifteen will become Twofifteen McCann, and will be led by the former management team of agencytwofifteen: Mike Parsons (Managing Director), Mike Harris (Chief Strategy Officer) and Scott Duchon (Chief Creative Officer).
agencytwofifteen was formed in April 2010 and named to the Creativity A-List in 2011. Prior to that, the employees of agencytwofifteen were part of T.A.G. SF, a group inside McCann that had handled the award-winning Xbox account since 2007.
Over the last five years, the team has won a staggering number of creative awards, including two Grand Prix awards at Cannes, Best of Show at the One Show, The Grandy, multiple D&AD pencils, Art Directors Club Cubes and AICP Show honors, and helped make Xbox Client of the Year at the Clios in 2008.
Prior to joining agencytwofifteen in June 2010, Parsons was responsible for all digital agencies within DDB UK, and was a member of the DDB Executive Board. Recognized as one of the industry’s leading strategists, Harris’s career has spanned top agencies across various geographies, including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and TBWA/Chiat/Day. During this time he has won many prestigious awards, including a European Grand Effie. Duchon started his career at Crispin & Porter, before moving to TBWA/Chiat/Day SF. He has won every industry award for his work on Adidas, Fox Sports, Levi’s, PlayStation, Pets.com and Xbox.
