LAS VEGAS, May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Flying robots, inventions, computers, and discovery – welcome to the adventures of thirteen-year-old Bud Thompson. Bud, his teenage sister and their elderly dog Casey must go with their father on his assignment to explore a recently discovered warm water lake below the ice sheet in Antarctica. It is there that Bud befriends Peter, a wheelchair-bound computer whiz.

The boys soon find ways to participate in the scientific research. It isn’t long before they are privy to the major discovery of intelligent life that exists below the Antarctic ice. Eventually, this knowledge puts them in grave danger from a rogue General who takes over the expedition as the boys find themselves trapped below the ice in a world filled with creatures that have existed on their own for millions of years. They soon meet intelligent creatures below the ice who call themselves the Teko.

With the rogue General closing in on them, Bud and Peter must team up with the Teko and figure out how to use their creative inventions and computer savvy to save themselves and the expedition. About the Author

R.E. Rowe has over 30 years experience developing, inventing, managing, and deploying products, developing intellectual property, and consulting. He received the first of over 100 patents, covering a wide range of technology in his early 20′s in the USAF. He has an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology, in addition to degrees in Computer Science and Avionics Systems and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. When he isn’t dreaming, he’s either trying to understand why, figuring out how, writing a YA sci-fi novel, or learning something new. He currently resides in Las Vegas, NV.
