The sights, sounds and smells of the Big Easy will fill the streets of West Texas, “when love comes to town . . .” Tall City Blues Fest is to be held on the beautiful downtown square of Centennial Park Plaza right in the heart of the city on July 29, 30, and 31, 2011. Talk about Blues in Strange Places – Midland, Texas will be the epicenter for Who’s Who in Blues, as Promising Projects Inc. rolls out an all-star line-up of headliners http://www.tallcitybluesfest.com/lineup/. The show bill for this gig includes such notables as B.B. King’s bandleader of 28 years James Boogaloo Bolden, Smokin’ Joe Kubek featuring Bnois King, Eddie Turner and James Hinkle. The organizers will host an entire weekend of continuous live music by award-winning artists from across the country, not to mention, more fun and food than you can shake a saxophone at!
