PopCap Launches Third Wave of Its Charity Art Auction

SEATTLE, June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ –
Starting at noon PT today, PopCap Games launches the third
wave in a month-long series of online art auctions giving
consumers a chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime items
from the PopCap vault. This week's auction items include a
Plants vs. Zombies Dr. Zomboss original concept sketch, a
Plants vs. Zombies zombies concept sketch on canvas, a
Plants vs. Zombies zombie head costume, a Plants vs. Zombies
zombie DJ painting that is 6-foot-by-6-foot, a Peggle
Splork concept sketch, Zuma Blitz ceramic tea cup and saucer
set, a personalized sketch to be done post-auction with
buyer input, and finally a Bejeweled neon blue diamond that
you have to see to believe. Opening bids for ALL of these
WHAT: items start at just $1 (dollar).
PopCap is donating 100 percent of all proceeds from the
auctions to the Starlight Children's Foundation in the
United States and SpecialEffect in the United Kingdom, two
nonprofits dedicated to helping seriously ill and disabled
children.
