Atlas is one of 13 people in the world certified as ScrumMaster Trainer and Scrum Coach by the Scrum Alliance, which makes him an expert both in theory and in practice. Scrum is an Agile framework for completing complex projects, specifically software projects.
Prior to Rally Software, Atlas was a Senior Development Manager at Amazon.com where he managed the development of Amazon S3, the first component of Amazon's modern cloud computing offering and winner of a 2005 CODiE Award for Best Web Services Solution. Atlas also held senior product management and engineering positions with RealNetworks; Eloquent, Inc; Avid Technology; Sarrus Software; ICL, Inc.; Open Software Foundation; MASSCOMP and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
