LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Punk rock trio Green Day's previously announced "special" concert scheduled for next Tuesday in Los Angeles will take place at the Wiltern Theater, said America Online, which will broadcast the show on AOL Music LIVE! (http://www.aolmusic.com).
Tickets, priced at $45 each, go on sale on Friday through Ticketmaster and the Wiltern box office, AOL said in a statement.
AOL will broadcast the show through Network LIVE, a digital entertainment network that distributes live events through such outlets as the Internet, satellite radio, video-on-demand, wireless and high-definition TV.
Green Day is touring in support of its Grammy-winning album "American Idiot," which has been in the upper reaches of the U.S. charts for 54 weeks. The band will release the "Bullet In A Bible" concert CD/DVD on November 15.
