‘Brokeback Mountain’ tops Satellite Awards

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ang Lee's "Brokeback
Mountain," the belle of the ball so far this awards season,
took home four honors at the 10th annual Satellite Awards, an
event organized by critics formerly affiliated with the
Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.
The gay cowboy romance won trophies Saturday for best
motion picture drama, director, editing and song.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was named best actor in a motion
picture drama for "Capote," and Felicity Huffman best dramatic
film actress for "Transamerica."
Satellites in the motion picture, musical or comedy
category went to "Walk the Line" as best film, Terrence Howard
of "Hustle & Flow" as best actor and Reese Witherspoon of "Walk
the Line" as best actress.
The event, organized by the International Press Academy,
took place at the Four Seasons Hotel.
