LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A slew of pilot projects received green lights at ABC, CBS and Fox Thursday, including a CBS drama from one of the producers of its "CSI" franchise.

Carol Mendelsohn's untitled project revolves around brilliant legal associates who battle moral, ethical and legal challenges under the tutelage of a ruthless managing partner.

Mendelsohn serves as an executive producer of all three "CSI" series. She is the showrunner of the mothership, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and co-created "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: NY" with Ann Donahue and Anthony Zuiker.

CBS also ordered a pilot for "The Angriest Man in Suburbia," a comedy about a husband and father who moves to suburbia and struggles to deal with the petty annoyances of daily life.

ABC's three drama pilot pickups include "Men in Trees," and "The Traveler."

"Men In Trees" centers on a female shrink who moves to Alaska after she learns that her husband had been cheating on her only to discover herself surrounded by available men.

"The Traveler," a thriller in the vein of "Enemy of the State," centers on two friends who are on the run after being framed by the most trusted person in their lives and considered threats to national security.

ABC also ordered an untitled project about women working at a law firm. It is set to be in the tone of the network's campy "Desperate Housewives."

Fox ordered a pair of comedy pilots: "If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now," about a diverse group of people living at a temporary housing complex in Los Angeles; and "The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend," about a tall handsome man and his short, average-looking best friend.
