Abdul eyeing syndicated TV projects

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "American Idol" judge
Paula Abdul has been discussing potential syndicated projects
with the company behind "Entertainment Tonight," the gossip
show on which she serves as a special correspondent, sources
talks may be at were unclear late Thursday, and distributor CBS
Paramount Domestic Television declined comment.
Abdul is in her fifth season as a judge on Fox's "American
Idol." The former pop singer and L.A. Lakers cheerleader also
was a guest co-host on syndicated morning show "Good Day Live"
and has appeared on numerous talk shows as well as episodes of
such TV series as ABC's "Less Than Perfect" and Disney
Channel's "That's So Raven."
