WE adds dancing, designing reality shows

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Cable channel WE: Women's Entertainment has added the reality series "Dirty Dancing: Living the Dream" and "Designer to the Stars: Kari Whitman" to its slate.
The Cablevision-owned network also has renewed "John Edward Cross Country" for a second season of six one-hour episodes beginning August 25.
"Living the Dream" pits 30 women against one another for a spot in the upcoming "Dirty Dancing" stage show. The eight-episode series will premiere December 6.
"Designer to the Stars" follows the professional and personal life of Hollywood interior decorator Kari Whitman. The eight-episode series will premiere January 6.
