Posted on: Tuesday, 12 September 2006, 09:00 CDT

Luiri Gold Limited (TSX VENTURE: LGL) is pleased to announce that it has retained First Canadian Capital Corp. (FCCC) as a consultant to provide strategic marketing and corporate communications. FCCC, based in Toronto and founded ten years ago, is a leading provider of investor relations and market awareness services to public companies in Canada. Under the terms of the agreement, Luiri will pay FCCC C$6,000 per month and grant 300,000 stock options with a strike price of C$0.50. The options will vest according to TSX Venture Exchange policy. First Canadian will assist Luiri Gold in opening productive and continuing dialogue with private investors, analysts, brokers and other financial professionals.

"Luiri Gold has excellent prospects with its large exploration land holdings in Zambia and a defined indicated and inferred gold resource," commented Mike Sperinck, President & CEO, Luiri Gold Limited. "We are confident that First Canadian Capital can help us raise our profile with potential investors and generate greater market understanding of our potential."

"We are excited about becoming part of the Luiri Gold team," commented Daniel Boase, Managing Partner, First Canadian Capital Corp. "The Company's gold-copper projects have great potential and the sheer size of the property and favourable setting of the target areas provide ample opportunity for exploration success. Luiri's experienced management is operating in a Zambian mineral belt known for its historical mineral production, which gives the Company an excellent chance of adding ounces to its pre-existing mineral resource base."
