TV Guide Network(R) Launches Its First-Ever Reality Series, 'MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE' on June 11th at 8:00 PM ET/PT

What: On Monday, June 11th, TV Guide Network(R) will premiere its first original reality series, MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE, which gives viewers an up-close and personal look at what it really takes to run a local news station in Midland-Odessa, Texas. Centered around CBS affiliate KOSA-TV Channel 7, MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE will go inside the chaotic and fascinating world of local news to follow the daily struggles of a diverse cast, that will do anything to get their story on-the-air. Each episode will expose the drama that ensues behind-the-scenes, which sometimes translates on-screen, and focuses on the people who put the news together, including the anchors, reporters and producers. Viewers will be able to share in the trial and tribulations of the cast as they strive to be the #1 newscast in Midland.

With a news anchor that can always be counted on to add his own humorous twist to any story, a reporter who fakes a country accent to fit in with the crowd and a producer that looks like he is barely old enough to drive, this diverse cast is made up of wildly different but dedicated personalities who are committed to delivering the story - no matter what.
