BigBand Networks to Demonstrate Carrier-Grade Video Solutions at NXTcomm '07

BigBand Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBND), will exhibit its proven, industry-leading video solutions for telecommunications carriers and present in two panel discussion sessions during NXTcomm '07. The company will also conduct a series of private demonstrations showcasing its latest innovations Tuesday, June 19th through Thursday, June 21st in Booth 3919 at McCormick Place in Chicago. BigBand's public demonstrations will include:
Advanced Telco Video Services. This demonstration will show how the company's carrier-grade, NEBS-compliant platforms empower service providers to deliver large-scale, profitable video services. BigBand's suite of digital TV management and delivery capabilities will be on display, including content acquisition, video processing, ad insertion, statistical multiplexing, and reliable program transport to support a wide variety of access networks, including xDSL and fiber networks.
Video Management System. This demonstration highlights the capabilities of the BigBand Video Network Management System (VMS) to support efficient management of large-scale video networks. The BigBand VMS is designed to offer operators easy access, through a powerful GUI, to a tool kit supporting secure discovery, topology, and enhanced element management.

At the ATIS TechThink Technology Conference's IPTV Mind Bender Session, "The Ultimate Entertainment! The IPTV Experience," BigBand chief technology officer Ran Oz will discuss the present and future of IP video technology development. The Q&A panel is scheduled for Tuesday, June 19th from 10:30 a.m. -- 11:45 a.m.
At Digital Hollywood's session, "Personalized TV: Exploring the True Power of IPTV," BigBand chief architect of IPTV John Reister will discuss the requirements necessary to fulfill IPTV's potential for providing customized entertainment experiences. The panel is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20th from 2 p.m. -- 3:15 p.m.
