Summit Business Media Appoints Thomas Flynn As CFO; Brings Over 15 Years of Experience in Publishing, Media and Entertainment

NEW YORK, July 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Summit Business Media, LLC, a leading media company serving the business-to-business market, today announced the appointment of Thomas M. Flynn, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Flynn, 38, had been interim CFO of Summit Business Media and CFO and Managing Director of Shared Services at Highline Media LLC, a Summit Business Media operating unit. He will be based in both New York and in Fairfield, CT and report to William F. Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Summit Business Media.
Mr. Flynn brings over 15 years' experience in publishing, media and entertainment to his role at Summit Business Media. Prior to joining Highline, Mr. Flynn was a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PRIMEDIA Business Magazines and Media, overseeing all financial functions in North America. Earlier, he was CFO of About.com when the company was acquired by PRIMEDIA, Inc. in 2001. Other positions held include Vice President and Senior Financial Officer of Hibernia Communications, a privately owned broadcasting company, and Director of Royalty Accounting at EMI Capital Music Group, a large multinational entertainment company. He began his career as a Senior Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
