FT Pipeline Systems Achieves Accreditation Hat-trick
FT Pipeline Systems reveals recent re-certification to all three industry standards
London, UK (PRWEB) December 14, 2011
FT Pipeline Systems, one of the leading providers of steel pipes and pipe accessories to the UK construction industry, has revealed that it recently achieved re-certification to all three industry standards; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Pipe suppliers FT Pipeline Systems had previously been using a management system developed by QEM Solutions in 2004. When the company completed its relocation from Sutton Coldfield to Lichfield in December 2010, plans were made to revisit the processes in place.
QEM Solutions was commissioned once again to work with FT Pipeline Systems and spent several months developing a new, integrated management and business improvement database, which served to streamline the business’s operating procedures. These changes were almost certainly a key factor in FT Pipeline Systems’ success in applying for its new accreditations.
Duncan Frazer, CEO of FT Pipeline Systems, said: “It’s fantastic that we’ve been able to achieve a trio of re-certifications following the successful implementation of our new business management and improvement database from QEM. Our operating processes have benefited significantly from this new system, which consistently enables us to operate at optimum levels.
“The new accreditations are integral to the success of our business moving forwards, as well as being a key factor in ensuring we continue to meet the needs of both our current and future customers and also stakeholders.â€
FT Pipeline Systems is a leading provider of steel and ductile iron pipes, covering both the UK construction and water industries. The business is also the UK licensee for Canusa heat shrinking pipe joint protection sleeves, designed specifically for ease of use and also their cost benefit.
