Richmond, VA (PRWEB) March 14, 2012
ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions (a DBA of ClearPoint Financial Solutions, Inc.) has been accepted as a member of Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster(VOAD) to help people affected by natural or man-made disasters.
ClearPoint will work with VOAD when a crisis has been identified and offer financial recovery education when a disaster has occurred. This partnership will be active throughout Virginia.
“In our experience, financial disaster often follows calamity,” said Trish Geddes, ClearPoint’s Director of Financial Counseling. “ClearPoint’s involvement with VOAD is mission-driven. We support consumers when they are most vulnerable, helping them to restore order and avoid becoming victims of scams. Or better, we hope to teach them what they can do to prepare before disaster strikes.”
