RMAX International and Scott Sonnon (featured amongst the World´s Top 25 trainers by Men´s Fitness Magazine in its November 2011 issue, and voted one of The Six Most Influential Martial Artists of the 21st Century by Black Belt Magazine in 2010) are proud to offer a free, health-restoring course, specifically devised to help the tactical community of fire rescue, law enforcement, and military personnel to recuperate from the pains, injuries, and excessive stress, acquired in the course of their professional duties.

Recuper8 program naturally evolved from Scott Sonnon’s deep involvement with teaching firefighters, police officers, and military personnel. He discovered a consistent pattern of injuries, pains and immobilities that constrained the first responders from “entering” exercises safely, increasing their intensity, and recovering quickly from occupational demands.

After two years of teaching for the US federal government, Scott had distilled this program down to a precise target on how to restore mobility and prevent pains and injuries caused by these high stress occupations.

Not only does this program address the combative and traumatic damage typical for these vocations, it also deals with the problems incurred by the servicemen and women on the job when they are forced into confined positions as chairs, cars, trucks, and planes, while carrying ergonomically inefficient loads of equipment, causing postural distortions and restrictions which cause most pains and injuries.

Scott Sonnon:

“In honor of our tactical first responders, for all you have given to us, and sacrificed for us, we wanted to give back to you. In the past few years of teaching for the federal government, I discovered a consistent, universal list of pains and injuries, which not only prevented you from accessing exercise, but also adversely impacted your readiness, and more importantly, diminished your quality of life.

“Not guns, bullets or bombs, but stress-related diseases which are the #1 killer for tactical responders like fire rescue, law enforcement and military. While you were too busy protecting us to worry about yourself, we busied ourselves trying to find ways to protect you from the unreasonable duress that sacrifice places upon your body. And you deserve more than just healing. You deserve a life of quality beyond managing a growing list of tears, tweaks and spasms.

“This Recuper8 course evolved organically from creating solutions, which would allow restructuring to happen and return you to pain-free, injury-recovered status.

“We consider it an honor to give you this for free, because while you’ve been busy actually protecting and saving lives, we’ve been researching how to protect and save yours from the dire circumstances of your job. It would have been impossible for you to do both, so for all you do for us, let us do something for you for once. We took the success you’ve given us over the years, and used that experience and discretionary time to invest it back into you. Thank you for that privilege, and the honor of giving back to you who do so much for all of us!”
