ETA-I is Pleased to Join the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers

NCATC, a network of higher education resources, approves ETA International, a certification organization dedicated to the professional validation of technicians in electronics, as it’s newest member in their Strategic Partner Alliance.

The Electronics Technicians Association International is the newest strategic partner joining the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers.

The National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers is a network of higher education resources that advocates and promotes the use of technology applications to enhance economic and workforce development programs and services. NCATC’s Strategic Partner Alliance members are businesses that have partnered with NCATC, and who provide value-added benefits to Coalition members.

NCATC with over 170 member institutions, consists of colleges, universities and schools who provide training to the corporate community, throughout the United States and Canada.

ETA represents technicians, companies and educators in the electronics industry. By collaborating with NCATC, both organizations and their partners, will mutually benefit by strengthening their certification and training networks. In this way both world class training and stackable credentials will be available from a single resource.

Widely known for electronics certification programs and accredited by the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC), ETA helps electronics technicians advance their knowledge and excel in their fields, while connecting employers to qualified electronics professionals.

ETA´s initiatives are to provide a prominent certification program of competency criteria and testing benchmarks that steer international electronics standards and provide universally accepted, professional electronics credentials. ETA has issued over 120,000 technical certifications covering 83 certification programs in a variety of electronics disciplines. The association is comprised of over 4,000 members, 700 Subject Matter Experts (SME) serving on various Industry Advisory Committees and over 1,000 Certification Administrators (CA).

ETA aligns with individual professional goals, vocational and educational curricula and businesses´ resource initiatives through ETA certification programs, conferences, speaking engagements and publications.

As an NCATC strategic partner ETA creates a pathway to the value-added advantage of world class industry accepted technical certifications in the technology tied area of Electronics.
