OrgSync Customers Gather for Inaugural User Conference, OrgSync Connect
Higher Education professionals learn new ways to drive, manage, and measure student involvement.

On June 21 – 23, 2012, 100 higher education professionals representing 55 institutions from 26 states gathered in Dallas, Texas to kick off OrgSync´s inaugural user conference, OrgSync Connect. The three-day user conference followed the theme of Learn, Share, Interact; it offered customers the opportunity to learn how other campuses are benefitting from the platform, share best practices, and interact with one another to create networks of users.
OrgSync´s customers hosted 15 educational sessions to showcase their campus programs and initiatives and share the many ways the platform is impacting their campus. Educational sessions covered a variety of topics including:
- Creating buzz to improve student adoption on campus
- Launching OrgSync´s Co-Curricular Transcript feature to students
- Leveraging OrgSync across multiple departments on campus
- Collecting involvement data for annual assessments
“The whole event was essentially just an ongoing confirmation that we had selected the right student engagement platform,” states Miles Ashlock, Associate Director of the Office of Student Life at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In addition to the educational sessions, breakout sessions gave participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with other institutions in their geographic area. These networking opportunities helped attendees expand their network and continue to share ideas post-conference.

Plans for the 2013 OrgSync Connect User Conference are currently being developed and will be announced in Fall 2012.
