In Focus with Martin Sheen is independently produced and distributed to public television stations around the country. The show is hosted by legendary actor Martin Sheen. Mr. Sheen has appeared in more than 60 films in his nearly five decades in the entertainment industry. In Focus Martin Sheen explores several topics for audiences including the cooperation between government agencies and non-government organizations.

Studies show that as many as a quarter of all homeless persons in the US are veterans. Many of them face several challenges when they return home from service. Some face substance abuse issues, others endure some form of psychological trauma and others simply have nowhere to turn. Around the country, the US Government is working with community organizations to help vets receive vocational training, housing and transportation they need to readjust to society. This series will highlight how this cooperative effort is helping to get veterans off the streets so that they can build a new life.
