New QTAC™ Fire Suppression Products Help Rural Land Owners and Land Managers Prevent Wildfires
QTAC, the latest product release from MTECH, Inc., is a self-contained firefighting apparatus designed to be carried on ATVs, UTVs, or in passenger truck beds.

MTECH, Inc., has expanded its line of firefighting equipment to include the QTAC, a portable, personal-sized firefighting system designed to knock down fires before they escalate.
“The idea for QTAC came after a rancher lost control of a prescribed burn, resulting in a wildfire,” explains MTECH President, Tom Black. “The ranch requested a scaled-down version of our quick-attack wildland fire engine — a small apparatus that could fit on an ATV and be easily deployed and operated by one person.”
“The end result is the QTAC line of products,” continues Black. “They´re affordable and easy to operate, but have many of the attributes of a quick-attack engine; QTACs can pump from a self-contained water supply, apply fire retardants, and draft from any nearby body of water.”
QTACs are available in 20- and 85-gallon sizes, and can be adapted for other purposes, such as crop, weed, or tree spraying. QTACs can also be used as mobile pumping stations for water tank refilling or general irrigation purposes.
