US Drug Watchdog is Now Urging All Recipients of The DePuy ASR or the DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant to Get Blood Tests for Cobalt or Chromium Levels Every Six Months

September 7, 2012

The US Drug Watchdog says, “We are now strongly encouraging recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR, and or the DePuy Pinnacle metal on metal hip implants to start getting blood tests every six months, with an emphasis on seeing if there are elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium in the hip implant recipient’s blood stream. There are 180,000 plus DePuy Pinnacle or recalled DePuy ASR hip implant recipients in the US, and because of age or not wanting to go through a hip replacement revision surgery again, they say nothing, or they have not yet heard about the severe issues associated with metal on metal hip implants. Nothing is more important to us than trying to get them some help, that includes the best possible attorneys. If the blood test is positive for elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium please call us immediately.” According to the New York Times on December 27th 2011, “Some 500,000 patients have received an all-metal replacement hip.” For more information about the DePuy ASR hip implant recall, or the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant, that are both subject to national litigation, please call the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via its web site at http://USDrugWatchdog.Com

The US Drug Watchdog says, “We are now advising all US recipients of the DePuy ASR, or the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant to start getting blood tests every six month. If there is elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium in your blood we want you to call us-on the spot, because we think elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium in a metal on metal hip implant recipient is the best symptom of a hip implant failure.” According to court records the DePuy Pinnacle, and the now recalled DePuy ASR metal on metal hip implants were surgically implanted in over 180,000 US citizens between 2002 and early 2010, and the courts so far have only identified about 5000 individuals with a hip implant failure? We need to get every recipient of a potentially failed metal on metal hip implant identified, and we will offer suggestions to the hip implant recipients as to the best national caliber law firms, to advance their claim, and we do not care if the DePuy ASR, or Pinnacle hip implant has failed yet, or not.” The US Drug Watchdog is urging family members, or friends of any US citizen, who had a hip implant after 2001 to ask them if it was a DePuy Pinnacle, or DePuy ASR? If the answer is yes-please-please tell them to start getting blood tests that zero in on cobalt, and chromium levels in their blood.
