Somewheretostay Backpackers Hostel in Brisbane Acquires Property For Expansion

December 2, 2012

After trading at capacity for over 3 years, the backpackers Hostel “Somewheretostay” has decided expansion is the only choice to accommodate the growing number of travellers flocking to Brisbane, Australia.

(PRWEB) December 01, 2012

Eski Toumbas, owner of the hostel, said, “Brisbane and Queensland are known amongst travellers around the world as The Sunshine State. The amazing weather and atmosphere all year round has helped overcome local floods and the high Australian Dollar to keep backpacker travellers happy and the tourism industry pumping.”

The acquisition of an adjoining property will allow the cosy hostel in Brisbane to increase its occupancy from 130 guests to just under 200. These rooms will comprise of private rooms catering for up to 4 people, to large shared dorms rooms sleeping approximately 8 travelers at budget prices.

Mr Toumbas explained that the increase in capacity will help the hostel capitalize on the overflow of travelers coming to Brisbane, “We calculated that we had to turn away over 3000 guests in 2012 due to simply not having the room. The extra beds will help us increase our capacity and alleviate the problem so many travelers are having when trying to find accommodation in Brisbane.”

The “cosy” hostel is located in West End, a inner city suburb of Brisbane. It’s famous for it’s cultural heritage being one of Brisbane’s oldest suburbs. Guests at “Somewhereotstay” Backpackers seemed relaxed and explained the hostel feels like a special “home away from home”.
