Experian’s Global Authentication Services Helps Cardplatforms Expand the Reach of its Offerings to Customers Outside of the United States
Prove ID and AutoDoc-ID will provide personal data verification, fraud screening, verification of online documents and voice verification.
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) February 05, 2013
Cardplatforms announced today that it will utilize Experian’s Global authentication services, Prove-ID and AutoDoc-ID, as part of a solution to help the company align with debit card associations and banking agencies regulatory requirements for issuing prepaid debit cards outside of the United States.
“The challenge with the distribution of prepaid cards has always been compliance,” said Jeff Foster, chief executive officer at Cardplatforms. “Offering Experian’s international authentication services as part of Cardplatforms' issuing environment marks a key milestone in the ability of our company to truly serve the needs of the unbanked and under-banked while maintaining the highest regulatory integrity.”
Working in tandem with Cardplatform’s global prepaid card issuance network, Experian’s international authentication services, Prove ID and AutoDoc-ID will provide personal data verification, fraud screening, verification of online documents and voice verification. These services will support Cardplatform’s compliance requirements, enabling them to perform international cross-border commerce.
“Serving unbanked consumers outside of the United States presents unique challenges, but aligning with compliance requirements should not be one of them. The coupling of Cardplatforms’ issuing platform with Experian’s international authentication services simplifies compliance so issuers can focus on building relationships,” said Scott Carter, senior vice president, Global Analytics and Fraud and Identity Solutions, Experian Decision Analytics. “Experian’s Prove ID and AutoDoc-ID products help solve this problem and enable growth from international cross-border commerce through our ability to authenticate users in distribution environments that are outside of the United States.”
