Prairie Winds of Urbana, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will be hosting a Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast for Seniors at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at the Provena Center for Healthy Aging in Champaign, Illinois.

“We invite seniors from throughout the Champaign Urbana area to join us,” says Margaret Seggebruch,” Director of Marketing for Prairie Winds. There is no charge to attend the breakfast.

The Provena Center for Healthy Aging is located at 410 E. University Ave. in Champaign, Illinois.

The Prairie Winds affordable assisted living community serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

The community, which is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, is located at 1905 S. Prairie Winds Dr. in Urbana, Illinois.

Each of the private studio and one-bedroom apartments at Prairie Winds features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty in the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

“Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in social activities,” says Seggebruch.

The community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
