Waterfront Properties Clients Can Enjoy Month of Special Events at The Gardens Mall

March 9, 2013

From the Easter Seals benefit to the Easter Bunny celebration, a lot of activities are in store for the South Florida retail arena.

Jupiter, Fla. (PRWEB) March 09, 2013

Kicking off Springtime and arrival of the Easter holiday, the ninth-annual fundraising event “A Pair To Remember” took place at The Gardens Mall to support the work of Easter Seals.

The $125-per-ticket luncheon included a live auction of women´s shoes, a designer fashion show, a silent auction and a champagne toast.

The successful event for children with special needs and their families will be followed by the arrival of the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will bound into The Gardens Mall on March 16 and will be welcomed by a colorful crew of stiltwalkers, jugglers and magicians, all performing to music in the elegant Grand Court. A $10 donation for families to enjoy the festivities and sweet treats is requested, with all proceeds benefiting Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope, a charity whose founders operate out of their property in Tequesta.

The Easter Bunny will live in his decorative “rabbit hole” in Bloomingdale´s Court through March 30 and will be available for photos during that time.

On March 23, the lower level of The Gardens Mall will serve as the site of a Health & Wellness Festival, featuring Dr. Mehmet Oz. Sponsored by WPBF-TV, the Health & Wellness Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature, in addition to Oz, dozens of experts from the Palm Beach County medical community to answer questions on a variety of topics. Among the day´s sessions are “Alzheimer´s: The Brain Betrayed” by Brain Matters´ neurologist Dr. Mark Brody, and “All About YOU!” by Oz.

Waterfront Properties and Club Communities encourages its clients to take advantage of the events and activities in The Gardens Mall, one of the biggest assets to the neighborhoods of Palm Beach Gardens, including Mirasol and Frenchman´s Creek.

Attendees at the Health & Wellness Festival not only will be able to get their photos taken with “America´s Doctor,” but also will be invited to meet the WPBF-TV news team, including Chris Emma, Tiffany Kenney, Paul Lagrone, Mike Lyons, Todd McDermott, Felicia Rodriguez and Sandra Shaw. All of them, and other television personalities, will be at the mobile news studio set up on the main stage.

Other behind-the-scenes opportunities include the WPBF.com Digital Center, the WPBF 25 First Alert Weather Mini Meteorologist Camp, the WPBF 25 Kid Zone and the WPBF 25 Healthy Cooking Chef’s Corner. The WPBF 25 Healthy Cooking Chef’s Corner will offer tips for low-calorie meals from William Redmond, chef of the Palm Beach Medical Center, inside the Williams & Sonoma kitchen.
