The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA), the premier association for this industry, today announced its 2013 Annual Conference and Exposition final agenda–”Your Treasure Chest for Learning”–April 9-11, 2013 at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, FL.
“The networking opportunities at this year´s annual conference are invaluable to all involved in or interested in the drug and alcohol testing industry,” said Diane Bauske, the 2013 DATIA Conference Committee Chairperson. “Our sessions offer fresh ideas as well as any regulatory changes that there may be. The courses will provide in-depth training for our industry professionals to grow and further experiences in their field. It´s really an exciting time.”
Top-level, influential speakers from the industry and government will address and interact with conference attendees to discuss areas of crucial importance. The DATIA conference will provide the opportunity for attendees to learn from the experiences of other industry professionals, as well as share their own best practices.
“Legalization of Marijuana and You,” one of 65 educational sessions at this year´s conference, will demonstrate how to proactively counter-attack propositions to legalize marijuana and, more importantly, how to counsel employers if such a law is passed.
Our “Federal Update” session is comprised of a panel of regulators who will provide information on recent regulatory changes as well as answer questions from participants.
DATIA’s unique and critical role as an educator for the industry ensures that the conference will surpass its well-earned reputation with an agenda that encourages interactive learning as well as networking among colleagues.
“DATIA is the industry leader in drug testing education,” said Neil Fortner, Chairman of DATIA´s Board of Directors. “From courses that can be taken in person at the annual meeting or at one of our many regional training seminars to our ever expanding on-line courses, webinars and electronic newsletter, DATIA provides our membership with the tools needed to maintain their role as leaders in the drug testing community.”
