The Ayurvedic herbal apprenticeship program offers a comprehensive training in preparation of herbal medicines used in Ayurvedic medicine. The program includes profound meditations with herbs, knowledge about cultivation and processing from start to finish. Ayurveda uses herbal medicines to restore physical, emotional and spiritual balance and promote well-being.

Ayurveda, which literally means “The Science of Life,” is the healing science from India. It has been practiced for over 5,000 years by millions of individuals to assist the body in journeying back to optimal health. Ayurveda uses herbal medicines to restore physical, emotional and spiritual balance and well-being.

This program is a wonderful opportunity to increase herbal knowledge and plant intuition through meditation and practice. This is a hands-on herbal training program where you will develop an intimate relationship with the plants. Students will become proficient in the making of many herbal preparations and will have the experience of herb cultivation and processing from start to finish. The graduates of this apprenticeship program will be fully prepared and proficient in creating their own herbal pharmacy as a part of an Ayurvedic practice.

The Ayurvedic Health Educator program also includes a comprehensive herbal curriculum. For more details about Ayurvedic Herbal Apprenticeship and the Ayurvedic training programs, please call (530) 478 9100 or visit the California College of Ayurveda at AyurvedaCollege.com.
