Barnes and Noble Hosts Mother’s Day Themed Bookfair to Support Santa Monica Child Care and Early Education Non-Profit Connections For Children
Percentage of sales will fund child care and early education resources for children, families in the Westside and South Bay areas.

Leading book and entertainment retailer Barnes and Noble will host a fundraising bookfair on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at their Third Street Promenade store, located at 1201 3rd St. in Santa Monica. A percentage of net sales from the charity event will be donated to Santa Monica non-profit agency Connections For Children. Connections For Children provides vital child care and early education resources to hundreds of families in the Westside and South Bay areas.
In addition to shopping for a cause, families and children are invited to participate in arts and crafts and storytelling time from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Throughout the free event, Connections For Children volunteers will offer Mother´s Day gift-wrapping for donations.
