Atlanta Vision Clinic Acquires the Latest in Blade-Free Lasik Technology Bringing Dubai Patients the Intralase Method

May 25, 2013

The Atlanta Vision Clinic has announced that it will now use Intralase technology for LASIK procedures at the Dubai LASIK practice.

Dubai, UAE (PRWEB) May 25, 2013

Dr. Farooq Ashraf, founder of the Atlanta Vision Clinic, a LASIK surgery clinic in Dubai, has announced his practice´s adoption of The iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser. The iFS laser is the only FDA-cleared femtosecond laser proven with more than 10 years of clinical research improving both the safety and precision of LASIK.

“We are happy to announce that we will now use The iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser at our Dubai LASIK practice,” Ashraf said Thursday. “We have been using the state-of-the-art technology at our Atlanta practice, and continue to be very happy with the effectiveness of it.”

The iFS laser offers a highly sophisticated way to prepare the eye for LASIK without a blade ever touching it. The IntraLase Method with the iFS laser makes it possible for the corneal flap to be 100 percent laser-created, allowing for flap customization and an individualized treatment. The Atlanta Vision Institute specifies flap diameter, depth, hinge location and width, and side-cut architecture to meet the patient´s individual needs.

Clinical studies show excellent visual outcomes and high patient satisfaction when the blade-free IntraLase Method is used. LASIK using the iFS laser is proven to provide faster visual recovery, fewer dry eye symptoms, and maximum flap stability — three times that of a blade-created flap.

Dr. Ashraf is an ophthalmologist, experienced LASIK surgeon, and founder of the Atlanta Vision Clinic in Dubai. He has personally performed over 40,000 LASIK surgeries, and specializes in corneal and refractive surgery, as well as other treatments for astigmatism, glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye conditions. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, and his advanced training in corneal and refractive surgery at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to the Atlanta Vision Clinic in Dubai, he also founded the Atlanta Vision Institute in the U.S. For more information, please visit http://www.dubailasik.com.
