International humanitarian relief organization, Convoy of Hope, recently received $100,000 from Chase to support its efforts to bring relief to tornado survivors in Moore, Okla.
“We thank Chase for their generosity and support for the people of Moore,” says Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope. “We also are honored that they have faith in us and the work we do to help those who are in desperate circumstances.”
Already, Convoy of Hope has dispatched disaster response teams and fifteen tractor-trailer loads carrying food, water and emergency supplies to Moore. One of Convoy of Hope´s hallmarks is to work in communities until the affected area is stable and no longer needs the organization’s services.
“During disasters we like to be among the first to arrive and among the last to leave,” adds Donaldson. “It´s good knowing Chase shares our commitment to helping communities fully recover from disasters.”
