Products Plus International (PPI) has just released the first installment of its “Kids´ Pain-Free Summer” education series entitled “Playground Dangers For Kids 14 And Under” with shocking statistics and suggestions for parents. This series is meant to help parents help their kids avoid common dangers especially prevalent during the summer months, according to a spokesperson for PPI.

Kernersville NC (PRWEB) June 06, 2013

In its first report in the parents education series,“Kids´ Pain-Free Summer”, Products Plus International (PPI) is bringing to attention many of the most common dangers for kids in summer months beginning with the special report, “Playground Dangers For Kids 14 And Under”.

The PPI report quotes statistics form the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)*, pointing out that there are annually over 200,000 playground-related injuries for kids 14 years and younger, and these are not just bumps and bruises.

In fact, in the decade of the 90′s, 147 children actually died from their injuries, over half from strangulation with 31% from falls.

Even more surprisingly, over 70% of these deaths were from home playgrounds.

According to PPI spokesperson, David Amos ,”We think that parents will be shocked to learn that over 90,000 per year playground accidents per year result in severe-fractures, internal injuries, concussions, dislocations and even amputations with children in the 5 to 9 year age groups make up the highest rates of emergency room visits.

“This special report will highlight what dangers kids face so that parents can make better informed decisions.”

The sponsor for this educational series is IPF-Pain Relief Lotion, a fast acting topical “first-aid in a bottle” featured by PPI that should be a welcome addition to every family´s first-aid arsenal for relief of pain from insect bites, minor burns and every day aches from muscles and joint pains throughout the spring and summer seasons.
