Edina Realty’s Kris Lindahl Joins Homes for Heroes Program to Help Lower the Cost of Housing for Community Heroes

June 12, 2013

Kris Lindahl of Edina Realty announced this morning that he is now a part of the Homes For Heroes program that gives 25% of his commission back to those who serve our community and nation.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 12, 2013

Edina Realty’s Kris Lindahl announced this morning that he’s joined the Homes For Heroes program. The program, created after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, aims to close the gap between the cost of housing for military personnel, police officers, firefighters, teachers, first-responders, and others like them who serve our community and nation. “I’ll now be giving back 25% of my commission to the heroes in our community,” Lindahl said.

Homes for Heroes, started by a group of Minnesota business owners, has quickly become the largest savings program for our nation’s heroes. The program has already saved over $3,000,000 in buying, selling, and refinancing costs. “I’m always looking for a way to give back and say thank you,” Lindahl said, and continued, “and this is just another way to do that for our nation’s heroes.”

Lindahl’s extensive charity work has set an exceptional example in the real estate community and his approach to real estate has made him one of the most sought out agents in the nation. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help and protection of the people that Homes For Heroes helps out,” Lindahl said, and continued, “So when I first learned of the opportunity to join the program I had no doubt I had to be a part of it.”
