Oakland County, MI (PRWEB) July 09, 2013

Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control is once again offering physical therapy services to their female patients who have issues with bladder control, chronic pelvic pain (CPP), chronic back pain, and any other problem that could benefit from physical therapy. Pelvic floor physical therapy is an important component of a comprehensive treatment plan to treat bladder control issues and pelvic pain. Rinku Singh, MPT, WCS, is a board certified women’s clinical specialist and a board certified pelvic floor specialist with the American Physical Therapy Association and will be available on Thursdays at Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control.

Ms. Singh chose to dedicate her career to pelvic floor rehabilitation after learning about the physical and emotional challenges that it brings to patients. Through Lifespan Therapy and Wellness, LLC, she created a practice where patients can feel safe and open to share their most intimate concerns and where she could provide medical solutions to help ease or eliminate these problems. According to Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, owner and physician at Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control, “Our [Women’s Excellence] partnership with Lifespan Therapy and Wellness improves and expands upon the physical therapy services we were previously providing our patients”.

Through Lifespan Therapy and Wellness, LLC, Ms. Singh strives to improve community awareness of physical therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, so that patients are informed of their treatment options. Rinku is an active member of the Women’s Health Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is a graduate of the Oakland University Program in Physical Therapy and grew up in Troy, Michigan. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, and spending time with her family.

Founded by Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, Women’s Excellence is the most comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic office in Michigan specializing in minimally invasive surgical procedures, treatment of female urinary incontinence and other female urological conditions, as well as minimally invasive vaginal and pelvic organ prolapse (POP) conditions.
