Suntactics Offers Emergency Solar Chargers for Gulf Coast Residents

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) October 04, 2013

With Tropical Storm Karen expected to make landfall this weekend on the Gulf Coast, Suntactics is extending its 10% off discount called “4STORM” for all Gulf coast residents, “We are warning residents of the Gulf to prepare for natural disasters like tropical storm Karen. We are a small U.S. company, we wish we can give all Gulf coast residents a free solar charger for emergencies, the best we can offer is a 10% off discount on our American-made, water resistant solar chargers so you can rest assured knowing if you’re caught in a flood or stuck somewhere with no power, you will be able to charge your phone with the sun at anytime.”

Suntactics recommends to store an sCharger-5 solar charger and a prepaid emergency smartphone in a waterproof emergency kit, “I don’t think we have learned from Hurricane Sandy and Hurricane Katrina” Suntactics Spokesperson exclaims; “Even the smallest storms can produce immeasurable floods, can leave entire families stranded with no source of communication with emergency response teams. Having a phone, a solar charger, or a storage battery could save lives.”

On Friday tropical storm Karen has reached 50 mph, although not a super-storm as many expected, Suntactics says people in the area should still brace for floods and property damage. “The wind speeds are down, but regardless it’s still a tropical storm.”, “We must remember, people let their guard down during Hurricane Katrina, we don’t wan’t people to do the same thing with these new storms that will continue to pop up all across the southeast and east coast.”

Storm Karen is to make landfall on Saturday in Louisiana, the governor has declared a state of emergency, and hurricane watch is still in effect from Grand Isle, Louisiana and east to Indian Pass, Florida.

Suntactics urges Gulf coast residents to prepare; “The cliche is really true, better safe than sorry, even if the storm passes with no incident, there is always another one right around the corner.” Adam said.
