Paula Dnistran Varblow, RN, MN, CS is a Nurse Psychotherapist and Clinical Specialist. Ms. Varblow has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Ms. Varblow received her master’s degree in nursing and psychotherapy from the UCLA. Working as a mental healthcare provider, Ms. Varblow offers patients the effective care and psychotherapy services they need to function in society. In her role, she interacts with people who have been deeply affected by a traumatic event including natural disasters, man-made disasters, war and terrorist activities.
As a nurse psychotherapist and clinical specialist, Ms. Varblow has advanced expertise in disaster mental health and trauma. She works closely with a team of healthcare professionals including doctors, psychiatrists and other nurses to help patients prevent or resolve their mental illnesses. Ms. Varblow provides direct patient care, counseling services, acts as their advocate and consultant and actively participates in their diagnosis and treatment.
In addition to maintaining a professional relationship with all of her patients, Ms. Varblow also knows the importance of providing compassionate care on a more personal level. She treats each and every patient with the utmost care and respect and provides comfort to family members whenever needed.
