A leading inventor service company, InventHelp is working to submit the Oskem to interested companies for their consideration and possible feedback.

"I took my dog to the vet for surgery, and afterward, he was fitted with a collar to keep him from licking the incisions while they healed," said an inventor from Hialeah, Fla. "He looked really sad and uncomfortable wearing that thing. I came up with my own alternative, and he was much happier and more comfortable."
He created a prototype for the patent-pending Oskem to provide a better alternative to collars and muzzles. The unit prevents the dog from licking surgical wounds or sore spots, and it also keeps the animal from biting people.
The accessory is designed for the animal's comfort, which ensures that the dog is happy. Additionally, the design still enables the dog to eat and drink normally.
The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
