The New Creation Treatment Center welcomes special guest Bob Tyler to this quarter's networking luncheon today, March 12, at 11 a.m., as the decorated Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor focuses his presentation on providing care for every individual suffering destructive addictions.
Bob Tyler, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II with more than 20 years of experience, has titled today's lecture, "Access to Recovery: No Addict Left Behind," according to officials from His House Rehab.
Tyler's approaches in practice include both individual and family coaching, cognitive behaviorism, emotional focus, motivational interviewing, solution focused brief and facilitation of the twelve step principles, according to Psychology Today. The Loyola Marymount University graduate's specialties include substance abuse, chronic relapse and addiction, according to Psychology Today.
The quarterly luncheon has been organized to strengthen the community of rehabilitation specialist in Southern California through networking and orientating students which some of the essential elements of the field. The event will be the result of a combined effort between His House Rehab and its sister organization, New Creations Rehab, according to officials.
Today's luncheons will kick off at 11 a.m. and will conclude at 1:30 p.m., according to representative from the organization. The event will be held at the New Creation Treatment Center at 23950 Prado Lane in Colton, Ca., officials stated.
