Obama, McCain Keep Piling on Wins

Hawaii Democrats gave U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., his 10th consecutive win, while Sen. John McCain. R-Ariz., rolled to another two victories.
Democratic and Republican candidates now focus on two big delegate prizes -- Ohio and Texas, which conduct their primary elections March 4.
Obama also won the Democratic primary Tuesday in Wisconsin. Obama has emerged as the front-runner after a neck-and-neck battle with Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., on Super Tuesday.
The change we seek is still months and miles away, Obama said Tuesday on a campaign stop in Texas.
In the Republican race, the Wisconsin win gives McCain at least 13 more delegates -- 24 more delegates are to be awarded to the winner of each congressional district, CNN reported. The remaining three GOP delegates are unpledged Republican National Committee members.
McCain also bested former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in Washington state's primary, where 19 delegates were up for grabs. Eighteen delegates were awarded earlier in the state's caucuses.

Hopefully, Obama will crash and burn in November if he gets the Democratic nomination. |

Posted by Robert Riley on 02/20/2008, 09:58 I believe that McCain has sold his sole to the devil (W) to get W's campaign support and campaign fundraising. McCain has accepted the following three conditions in exchange: *** He will keep the present corrupt cabinet and appointees; ***He will keep the war going; ***All W’s sham government/military contractors will be left unsupervised and un-audited. In return they will continue funding W’s elite inner circle of upper government GOP politicians including newly initiated John McCain. Karl Rove, with access to confidential FBI files and domestic wiretapping of all candidates and their backers provided by W’s Department Of Justice appointees, is ready to start running smear campaigns on the Democratic nominee when he/she is officially named by the Democratic party. |
