Obama: McCain Will Extend Bush Policies

Sen. John McCain's closed-door fundraiser with President George Bush in Phoenix gave Barack Obama the opening to say McCain would extend Bush policy.
McCain, R-Ariz., the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, is holding a fundraiser with George Bush behind closed doors in Arizona, Obama told an audience in Las Vegas. Senator McCain doesn't want to be seen hat-in-hand with the president whose failed policies he promises to continue for another four years.
Obama, the freshman U.S. senator from Illinois, spoke about home foreclosures and the mortgage crisis.
I don't think the American people want to continue the disastrous economic policies that have helped create catastrophes like the housing crisis that we're here to discuss (Tuesday), Obama said.
McCain offers more of the same policies that have failed for the past eight years, Obama said. That's the agenda that he and the president are raising money to support ... .
