Greg Norman Takes the British Open Lead

Greg Norman shot his second straight even-par 70 Friday to grab the clubhouse lead at the British Open golf tournament in Southport, England.
His stunning turnaround comes after playing only six times this season and missing the cut three times.
My expectations for this week were the same as they are now .. realistically low to tell you the truth, Norman said in a television interview with ESPN. I want to keep it that way. I haven't played a lot (and) obviously the last three holes might have shown a little bit of that.
Norman's 36-hole total, even-par 140, is one-stroke better than Camilo Villegas, who birdied his last five holes Friday for a 5-under 65.
Villegas went to the clubhouse at 1-over 141.
